On June 4–5, 2025 – The European Chips Diversity Alliance (ECDA),  will take the stage at the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit 2025, Europe’s largest conference and career fair for women in technology. The summit will gather over 10,000 participants, 500 speakers, and 105 top tech companies to address the future of innovation, inclusion, and tech careers.

“European Commission-funded initiatives such as the European Chips Diversity Alliance and the European Chips Skills Academy, along with SEMI Europe programs like ChipQuest and 20Under30, are critical to addressing the talent gap and shaping Europe’s semiconductor skills strategy,” said Laith Altimime, President of SEMI Europe. “These efforts reinforce the urgent need to expand access to education and career opportunities across the sector.”

The experiences and perspectives of women in microelectronics play a crucial role in shaping the future of innovation. By approaching challenges from different angles and bringing diverse life experiences, women help reframe problems and open doors to new possibilities. This inclusive approach not only drives technological advancements but also fosters a more equitable and resilient industry—one that is ready to lead and thrive in an ever-evolving landscape.

Since joining SEMI Europe in 2023, Cummings has spearheaded several EU-funded initiatives aimed at equipping the next generation of professionals with the skills needed to thrive in the microelectronics sector.

“As the semiconductor industry rapidly evolves, inclusive workforce development is more critical than ever to ensure no talent is left behind,” said Cummings.
