This event effectively highlighted the pressing need to tackle the skills gap in the semiconductor sector while actively promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). A key session focused on how various EU projects are addressing workforce challenges and fostering innovation through inclusivity. Esteemed speakers shared valuable insights: 

  • Isabella Drollz, Vice President Marketing & Product Strategy, Comet AG a dedicated advocate for STEM programs, driving change and empowering future tech leaders. 
  • Nessa Maguire, CEO, EudaOrg known for her impactful corporate diversity strategies that build supportive and equitable workplaces 
  • Reviliani Gani, SEMI Europe Senior Manager of Diversity and Workforce Development at SEMI Europe, who highlighted collaborative research efforts and the importance of data-driven strategies
  • Mathew Coates, Project Manger, PTvT, discussed the role of cross-sector collaboration in building a future-ready workforce.

The consortium meeting brought together key stakeholders to align on effective DEI strategies. Discussions were led by Revilliani Gani, who highlighted collaborative research efforts and the importance of data-driven strategies. 

Participants engaged in leveraging their collective expertise to foster sustainable advancements in workplace diversity and skills development.

Programs such as European Chips Diversity Alliance and the European Chips Skills Academy (ECSA) were showcased for their significant contributions to workforce development. Presenters highlighted how these initiatives are:
