About the DEI Working Group
The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Working Group of the European Chips Skills Alliance brings together stakeholders committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion across Europe’s semiconductor ecosystem. The working group provides a collaborative platform for industry, academia, training providers, and other stakeholders to exchange best practices, share initiatives, and contribute to building a more inclusive semiconductor workforce. The DEI Working Group meets quarterly and welcomes participants from both within and outside the semiconductor sector who can contribute expertise and perspectives related to inclusive workforce development.
About the European Chips Skills Alliance
The European Chips Skills Alliance is a multi-stakeholder network connecting industrial companies, universities, vocational education and training providers, national Chips Competence Centres, and other organisations involved in microelectronics education and training. Established as part of the long-term action plan of the METIS project and formalised under the European Chips Skills Academy, the Alliance supports collaboration across Europe to address the semiconductor skills shortage and strengthen Europe’s competitiveness in the microelectronics sector. The Alliance provides a platform for stakeholders to share best practices, coordinate skills initiatives, and collaborate on workforce development activities for the semiconductor industry.
