The Diversity in Chips Leadership Board plays a central role in guiding the direction, priorities, and impact of the ECDA project. The board is chaired by Cassandra Melvin, with Isabella Drolz serving as Co-Chair.
Bringing together senior representatives from industry, education, and innovation, the board ensures that activities remain aligned with real-world needs across Europe’s microelectronics ecosystem.
The board meets regularly to support the consortium in key strategic decisions and initiatives. This includes shaping the nomination criteria for the Ambassadorship Programme, contributing to the development of the Mentorship Exchange, and participating in the selection of the inaugural Spark Excellence Award recipient.
Through this ongoing engagement, the Leadership Board helps ensure that ECDA delivers meaningful, inclusive, and sustainable impact for Europe’s semiconductor workforce.
“ECDA will be a vital link in eliminating biases and promoting a skilled, inclusive workforce that reflects the world we live in.”
