Building a more inclusive future for Europe’s microelectronics sector
The European Chips Diversity Alliance (ECDA) is a Europe-wide initiative working to make the microelectronics sector more inclusive, equitable, and future-ready. We bring together academia, industry, and other key stakeholders to reduce barriers to participation and unlock the potential of underrepresented talent.
Our community
Meet the ECDA community
ECDA brings together partners from across Europe who are committed to strengthening diversity, equity, and inclusion in the microelectronics sector. By connecting academia, industry, and wider stakeholders, the alliance is building practical pathways toward a more inclusive and future-ready ecosystem.
Why ECDA matters
Europe’s microelectronics sector faces a dual challenge: growing demand for talent and persistent barriers that limit who can participate and thrive. ECDA was created to help address these challenges by embedding diversity, equity, and inclusion into the future of the sector.
Our work is grounded in the belief that a stronger, more competitive European chips ecosystem depends on opening opportunities more widely and building systems that support a broader range of people, perspectives, and career pathways.
